Dominion
Dominion
Don’t press on not today
go back to the starting point
the land of enchantment
where light was in charge
and there was no sound
high desert sun mountains
that grew larger or smaller
as light allowed
and a child, one of many, I imagine,
who felt herself invisible
who spent no words
and wove those absences
as glamour
to misdirect to hide
what light was giving her
to work with.
You remember.
