Queen of Perspicacity
Queen of Perspicacity
Cut through and toss.
There’s a thunderstorm
building strength
from water and on its way.
Say it out loud
I need your help.
Too many voices obstacles
I can’t think straight.
But, of course, I can
roll across
the big picture
rain down and strike.
You swept me off around the world at birth,
showed me what to absorb
and what to repel.
National Weather Service warns
“lightning strike zero mile from home.”
Say it.
I miss you when you’re not here.
My better judgement.
Throw it down.
