What is it about water
about desire?
So speechless here
a dam a pain
in the low back
It’s your size
the solid earth of you
that makes it all so easy
Before you my eye was drawn
to flame-quick bodies
and now
in broad daylight
almost always
there you are
behind me in front
all your words
tamped down
your hands
sure
maybe you’re not even
thinking of me maybe you are
lost in thought
in bits of fabricated data
and I am the one drawn
by your gravity
to touch the fact of you
What does this have to do with water
besides dissolution?
